What strange creatures people are!
Wanting to live a life on a planet
So green and blue, so full of life,
With animals so majestic.
Isn't it sad that man's expanding urge,
Is making that same planet
A place where animals and trees die,
And where mankind itself is
On the brink of disaster;
Or even of being annihilated?
Aren't we our own worst enemy?
